Item Description
The Bahco PC 22 INS ProfCut is a specialist hand saw designed specifically for cutting insulation materials with precision and minimal dust generation. This 22 inch (550mm) saw features unique waved toothing that delivers clean cuts through a wide range of insulation products including mineral wool, glass wool, expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS), stone wool and rock wool.

The WT-toothing pattern is engineered specifically for insulation work, with the added advantage of being re-sharpenable using any standard knife sharpener to maintain cutting performance. At 0.83mm thick, the blade matches conventional saw specifications whilst avoiding the varnish or powder coating treatments found on regular handsaws, ensuring reduced friction and sustained sharpness during use.

Practical features include a comfortable two-component handle for extended cutting sessions and a unique rust-protective sleeve. The sleeve is imprinted with Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) technology that actively protects the blade from corrosion during storage and transportation, preserving the cutting edge between jobs.

This saw is ideal for professional installers and contractors working with thermal insulation, building envelope applications, and loft insulation projects where clean cuts and minimal material waste are priorities.
