This pair of sugar tongs is dated 1889 and hallmarked 84 silver, Moscow (St. George mark), Assayer A. Romanov (AP mark) and a partial maker's mark which is most likely "HA" for N. Alekseyev (active in Moscow 1885-1898). (A similar undated pair with the same heart motif design is listed by a seller in Israel with a clear HA maker's mark.) The detail/lack of wear on these tongs is very nice. One arm does have a ripple from a prior bend. The pair in Israel is offered for $221.00.
Sorry, no shipping to Russia or Belarus.
Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
