very beautiful, old brooch - Biedermeier, around 1840/50
wide, curved shape - hollow and openwork
filigree & elaborate surface with floral decor
Decorated with a pearl and 2 clear colored stones
Brooching on the back with a needle for hooking
made from ~585 gold 14K - without hallmarks - tested with testing acid & by a gold dealer -
as well as probably additional gilding, resulting in a strong gold color
Dimensions: approx. 5.1cm x approx. 3.4cm
Weight: 11.41 grams
