Description
A very nicely decorated jar in lovely verte colors with peony. In our opinion this is a piece made for the Thai market.
History : Bencharong wares were enamelled porcelain pieces made in China for the Thai market during the Ayutthaya Period through into the 19 th Century. Principal enamels used on earlier pieces were red, black, yellow, white and green.
