Voyager Expanded Book - Jurassic Park

Original issue, historic and ground-breaking first ever e-book, published on floppy disc in 1991.
For sale is an exceptionally rare and collectable original 1991 copy of one of the first three titles ever issued in digital format --- the pioneering precursor to the modern e-book.
The format was called "Voyager Expanded Book" and three titles (one of which was Jurassic Park) were released simultaneously at MacWorld San Francisco in January 1992 to launch the format. This copy is in well preserved condition and is available as a piece of history that dates to a time when the current era of digital media was dawning.
Book Description:
- Soft cover (Folio containing diskette). Condition: Very Good. Not ex-library.
- Extremely scarce digital version of "Jurassic Park" utilizing Apple's sadly extinct but very proprietary HyperCard software.
- OCLC records only one copy of this book in this diskette format in the U.S.A.
- Per the diskette container: "First printing December 1991".
- Original Voyager Expanded Book folio, containing a single 3.5 inch diskette for "Macintosh PowerBooks, or any Mac with hard drive and large display (640 x 400 or greater). System 6.0.7 and HyperCard 2.1 (or later versions)."
