I love the vibrancy and viscosity of oil paint. My themes come from the nature around us and from travel and people watching. A 19th century studies graduate, my favourite artists are Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne, Picasso and Hopper.

In my painting I aim to use joyful palettes and I’m interested in the indication of form in the mind’s eye. In my pictures I like to have a sense of narrative, capturing a moment of emotion or thought.
