2. The multi-mode digital voice modem is a combination of modem hardware and software developed to handle all amateur digital voice modes.
3. Initially supporting D-Star and DMR, later supporting other versions, and built-in FM forwarding controller.
4. For all modes except DMR and FM, modems can be used in simplex or duplex mode, while DMR and FM must use full duplex.
