The box measures approximately 7 inches across. The form is called Baroque. and was produced Circa 1892. The piece is signed on the base with an early C.F. Monroe mark for Wave Crest. 

PLEASE ask all questions including additional photos if needed, as there are no returns. The only exception is if the photos and or  description are grossly inaccurate. Shipping charges will not be refunded as it is a cost of delivery and return shipping will be at the buyers expense. BUYERS REMORSE IS NOT A VALID REASON  for returning items.
