Why is this being sold “For-Parts or Repair”?

The Cellometer boots to a EFI command prompt, essentially meaning that it can not read the start up program. Testing of the internal 256GB SSD revealed it doesn’t work. Buyer will need a replacement SSD with OS and software. No other system testing was performed.
