The Sing Fat Company, selling oriental art, antiques,
and housewares originated in San Francisco’s Chinatown shortly after the
1910 earthquake, located at the corner of California and Grant
Streets. It also had locations in Los Angeles, Chicago,
and other major cities throughout the United States. The premises of the Los Angeles store
were so extensive that they had entrances on both Broadway and Hill
Streets. This card chronicles the
“Sing Fat Co., Inc, Los Angeles, Hill St. Interior Art goods Section”
and is in very good condition with minor wear and a clean, clear image and
reverse.
