Stunning hand thrown stoneware art pottery mug with hand glazed abstract floral pattern on front and back in purple and blue glossy glaze over a coppery brown stoneware base and interior with a matte glaze. Mug's handle has a sculptural thumbrest at the top. The maker's mark is RB, incised into an applied disk of clay on one side above the design. Base is unglazed stoneware pottery. Mug measures 5.25" tall, 3.25" in diameter at the rim, and 5" across including handle. Holds at least 16 fl oz in capacity. 

Mug is in excellent pre-owned condition. Beautifully hand thrown and hand crafted art pottery mug. No chips, cracks, stains, or utensil marks. Marked with a RB maker's mark on an applied disc on one side. See photos for details.
