For your consideration is this antique pastel portrait of a gentleman in a fancy gold carved and gesso wood frame. It measures 30 1/4 x 26 1/4" and fits 20 x 16" inside. This one remains in very nice as found condition. Yes, someone did run the screw eyes that hold the hanger wire on the back one turn too far. These 2 small flaws are shown in photos 11 & 12. Otherwise, you really have to look to find a few small flaws in the gesso. The last photo shows a companion piece that is listed separately. The frames vary slightly in size and decoration.
