This game can be played with 2-4 players. For larger crowds, get another deck and shuffle them together!

VETO is a card game full of twists, turns, and clever card play. Match cards to shrink your hand, stack multiples when possible, and use your VETO card to block the penalty when another player matches you. Once your hand is gone, it’s time to tackle your hidden Ground piles where every card is a risk. Easy to learn and full of surprises, VETO delivers moments that keep players coming back.

How to Play VETO:

Deal the cards

Each player starts with 4 piles of Ground cards (face down) and 4 cards in hand.

Be the first to play all cards and win the game!

Play a card higher than the last

Play higher than the last

Play a card matching or beating the last one. Watch for cards to change the direction of the game to Low Cards Win.

Play a Veto Card when a player matches you

Play a VETO card if matched

Play a VETO to avoid drawing 3 cards when your card is matched.

Pick up the pile if no valid play OR play a wild

Play a Wild or Pick up the pile

No valid play? Either play a Wild Card or pick up the discard pile!
