Tied into the duo's reality television series of the same name, Go Get It features two new songs: the show's rallying theme song, strong enough to be released as a single, and "Sunday Morning," another one of Mary Mary's fine fusions of traditional and modern sounds. Otherwise, Go Get It works as a representative overview of the premier contemporary gospel act of the 2000s. It contains their two biggest crossover hits in "Shackles (Praise You)" -- a Top 40 single -- and "God in Me," which topped the club and gospel charts, went Top Five R&B/Hip-Hop, and was used by professional baseball player Juan Pierre as at-bat music. At least one song comes from each one of the duo's five studio albums, but not all of the singles are present.
