Goalie Bernie Parent’s stellar 14-year NHL career was cut short by a serious eye injury.  Still, while he played, his star shone brightly. Over his 608-game career, Parent recorded a meager 2.55 Goals Against Average and 54 shutouts while leading the Philadelphia Flyers to two Stanley Cup titles. In 1973-74, he led the Flyers to the Cup with a 1.89 GAA. Parent was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1984. This card has good – not great – centering and shows light corner wear.
