This is a small collection of original First World War period snapshot photographs of the British Army in India.
There are seven different in all.
The soldiers featured are infantrymen of the Royal Sussex Regiment.
The 1st Battalion of the Royal Sussex Regiment were serving in North West India (now Pakistan) to guard the Khyber Pass.
These photographs were taken around the year 1917.
The photos (115 mm x 82 mm largest) are in a used condition.
There is creasing but there is no significant damage.
A good find.
