Item is currently set up to be mounted to a below prosthesis, which explains why the male pyramid adapter is mounted to attach horizontal. If you would like to use this item for a different orientation you were simply had to replace the current adapter with the one you desire. Vertical style adapter can replace the current one if needed. Again the item has no issues. Category 3, 141-190 pound user. Total height approx 19”, Depending on the angle of the blade.
