This is a very rare multi-mineral specimen with yellow wavellite botryoidal rounded crystal formations on a metallic mineral (aluminum, zinc, iron, copper?) seeped by chalcedony quartz from Kansas USA. In the base of this crystal is a dark silver metallic mineral with some green mineral color under 40x magnifier. There are some angular crystals growing in the metal side which I first thought looked like zincite but after reading internet am thinking could be spinel. This ancient stone is very mysterious and has been through very much geologic time and transformation. This stone was found on the Kansas River plane and may have been brought to this area through extreme Earth events. There is a half mile deep of glacial and river till piled up in the location this was found. This stone is good for collection, study, display, or other purpose.
