Details: The ever popular King’s Crown pattern, (also known as Thumbprint), offered here in the Dark Amber color. This water goblet features the traditional ovals and zigzag markings of the Kings Crown pattern. There is a long history of this pattern, originally introduced by Adams Glass Co. during the late 1800’s. It became a very popular pattern and was copied by other glass manufacturers. Indiana Glass introduced their King’s Crown in the late 1950’s. Colony Glass continued to make this pattern after they merged with Lancaster Glass Corporation in 1961, (others say 1957), who owned Indiana Glass. Selling as a set of 4.
