This ultrasonic repeller is more a heavy duty version for use in gardens, farmland and large barns. It can be used for repelling foxes, wild boar & cats etc. It is ideal for protecting poultry runs as the frequency of this unit is from 2kHz to 60kHz and so wont cause any stress to poultry, due to the fact that poultry are only sensitive to sounds below 2kHz.
It is a more powerful version of our 071 model but is not adjustable. This Ultrasonic Pulse Generator is supplied with Loudspeaker and an additional speaker can be added too if required. The loudspeaker emits an agressive pulsed ultrasonic sound (max. 120 dB ± 15 %), which have an acoustic range of up to 300m (900ft) with the speaker placed in a suitable plastic tube (not included). Operating voltage: 12 VDC. More suited to small holdings & farms as it covers a larger area. The unit should be protected from rain if mounted outside.
Can be run from a 12vdc supply or 12v battery.
