
Sharing with you this lovely and larger size dish from the Kangxi period, ca 1720.
The well of the dish has a painting of bamboo landscape/garden with flowers, grasshopper and birds in flight.
The central panel is bordered on the cavetto with a fine band of blossoming flowers in verte enamels and copper red with gilt.
The edge of the dish bears impressed relief ornamentation of flowers. The reverse is decorated on the edges
with branches.
