Original artwork by Reverend Henry Balmforth (1890-1977). He was a well know author, artist and former Canon of Exeter Cathedral. 

I have acquired a portfolio of paintings and sketchbooks by the artist, dating from early 20th century to the 1970's. Some are signed or initialed. The last image shows the entire collection. This listing is for a single work as detailed below.

Watercolour and pencil on lightly textured wove paper from the artists sketchbook. Unsigned. Very reasonable condition, with light handling, age toning and minor marks/blemishes.
