It worked just fine until the lamp gave up.

I believe that if you change the lamp it will work just fine,but i can't guarantee anything if it will work if you change the lamp!
So this is why i won't accept returns or refunds

The filter part that looks like sponge is gone but the plastic surrounding the sponge part is still fine.

Missing the remote.
