This stunning GB QV 1841 wrapper features the Penny Red stamp with the plate number 'PJ' and was used to send mail from Gravesend to London on the 14th of April 1841. The stamp was printed using the line-engraved method and has a beautiful red colour. It depicts the profile of Queen Victoria, who was the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom from 1837 to 1901.


The stamp is of an extremely fine/superb grade and has been cancelled with a black Maltese cross. This stamp is a must-have for any stamp collector interested in British royalty and covers from the Victoria era.
