The item for sale is HERMÈS La Maison des Oiseaux Parleurs by Bela Silva 100% Silk Twill Carre Scarf with Box – Made in France!

Up for sale is a very rare authentic HERMÈS La Maison des Oiseaux Parleurs 100% Silk Carre scarf. This scarf was designed by a Portuguese-Belgian visual artist Bela Silva and issued as part of 2018 collection. Her innovative design is inspired by paper collages taken from various sources – all presented in a beautiful and unique colorway of yellow, caramel and cream. The scarf is titled, featuring Hermès logo, copyright and the artist's signature; the edges are hand rolled, and the original care tag is attached. The scarf comes in the original Hermès orange box with tissue paper

Condition: Never worn or used. The scarf is from my personal collection and is guaranteed to be authentic. It has never been worn or used, the fabric is crisp with the original folds and drapes beautifully, and the hand rolled edges are plump and intact. The only imperfections to note are a couple of minuscule dust spots due to storage and handling, which I depicted on the last two pictures on the listing. Please note that the spots are very inconspicuous and are hardly visible on the pictures. The scarf comes in the original Hermès orange box with tissue paper and has the attached care tag.

The Story Behind (as copied from Hermès catalog): A ceramic artist who has exhibited all over the world, not least in her native country of Portugal, Bela Silva nourishes her creativity with varied sources of inspiration. There is another dimension to her work stemming from her love of collages, which she creates with all kinds of paper gathered on walks and trips. In La Maison des Osieaux Parleurs, the shapes have been cut out from accountancy ledgers found in flea markets, or from vintage wallpapers. Cut out, glued, livened up with drawings, these shapes come together to create a free and joyful scarf, inhabited by animals and heterogeneous objects assembled around talking birds conversing in their secret language.
