Omega Memomaster ref 182.0001 /382.0801 alarm watch, Quartz cal. 1632 fully serviced 1979

Pre-owned in very good to excellent condition.

The Memomaster quartz was the first programmable LCD watch ever produced in the world. It offers all kinds of functions such as a calendar, a 12-hour countdown timer and 24-hour alarm. This model is in very good condition and works very well. Its case fits remarkably well on the wrist and its integrated bracelet of the most beautiful effect does a lot for it. You will be able to navigate through its programs thanks to the pushers.

According to the first owner of the watch, the watch was serviced and refreshed 2 years ago at the local Omega dealership (swatch group Greece). There was a replacement of the glass, the pushers, the gaskets, some mechanical spare parts and some light polishing. The cost for all this service was 565 euros (the receipt will come with the watch) and since then the watch has remained in a drawer.

Condition:

There are a few marks on the case and a tiny dent on the lower right side, (see pic. 4,5). The front panel above the glass, has tiny marks. The original glass is new and perfectly clean. The 4 pushers are original (and new) and work perfectly without ever sticking.

The watch works correctly in every way. The LCD screen display is in excellent condition and displays with no error, the functions all work, the speaker for the alarm works and the light works.

The original Omega bracelet is in excellent condition, signed “ST.1311.742". Total circumference of the watch and bracelet is approx. 19.00cm (7.5 inch).

Case dimensions: Left to right is approx. 35.00mm (excl. crown) and up to down 38.00mm.

How it works:

Digital watches can always be tough to pin down, especially when you don’t have instructions.

The central Omega symbol is the 30 second sound signal alarm.

The top right button sets the times, timer programming, date or second selection and stops the sound signal.

The middle pusher on the right is the time corrector used to set the time.

The bottom right button selects the timer, alarm, or agenda mode.

The bottom left button is the light for seeing in the dark.

The top right button is for programming the alarm or the agenda, as well as resetting the timer.

The screen displays the hours and minutes. On the right it can display either the seconds or the date. There is a pointer arrow at the bottom of the screen which points to the day of the way.
