479021302 is the upper shim half-ring and 479021702 is the lower shim half-ring. 479021000 is shown as the later Maserati number for the upper and lower shim half-rings.

Not for inline-six crankshafts with 65 mm main journals, typically late 3500 GTI, Sebring and Mistral applications.

CRANKSHAFT THRUST WASHERS

Crankshaft thrust washers control crankshaft end float in the engine block.

Worn thrust washers can contribute to:

• Excessive crankshaft end play

• Clutch or torque-converter thrust load issues

• Engine bottom-end wear at the thrust bearing location

This set replaces the upper and lower crankshaft thrust washer half-rings in standard 2.30 mm thickness.
