The U.S. Mint released updated reverse designs for the American Eagle Gold coins in mid-year 2021. Mint Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) designer Jennie Norris created the Gold coin design, which was then sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon. The new reverse features an up-close view of an American Bald Eagles to display a beautifully simplistic view of America's strength.
