For the first time in the world, a resin model of the Carmel Ducas which was manufactured in Israel in the 1960’s, in 1/43 scale. 
 The car was made by Yitzhak Shovinsky at the Autocar factory in Tirat Hacarmel, near the port city of Haifa. 
The name “Carmel”  was named after mount Carmel. 
The body was made of fibreglass, which has the advantage of light weight, corrosion resistance, and suitability for low volume production.
