RARE, Early 2 Page WWII German Death Card, Died in 1940 in Paris During Invasion of France

DESCRIPTION: Rare original early 2 Page WWII German Death card, died in 1940 in hospital in Paris, France, during invasion of France, from pneumonia.  

Specifically, "Matthaus Kaspar, lance cpl in a communications outfit, who heroically died FOR FUHRER, FOLK, AND FATHERLAND on August 28, 1940, AGED 30, in a hospital in Paris-Suresnnes as a result of pneumonia.." GREAT FULL PAGE photo in army uniform and hat, wearing glasses. 

This was an early card from WWII, from 1940.

Card is in excellent condition, and 2-page cards are always especially nice. This card puts a name and face to a soldier who would otherwise be a forgotten statistic.
