DESCRIPTION :

The Dametric TDC-IZ sensor is designed to measure grinding wheel distances from 0 to 3 mm and grinding temperature up to 220 C. The measuring tip is placed in the template gap in line with the stator segments. The measuring tip is stainless and the holder is made of bronze. The sensor wears in step with the stator segments and is normally replaced with each disc change. The measuring principle is basically magnetic, which presupposes that the segment material is magnetically conductive. The measurement method is unique and developed for the environment to which the tip is exposed and has nothing in common with standard sensors for distance, e.g. inductive sensors. The Dametric TDC-IZ sensor is not delivered with built-in temperature element.
