Polypropylene has good chemical resistance over a wide range of bases and acids, as well as most solvents. It is an economical, lightweight material with a high strength-to-weight ratio, inherent flexibility and moderate impact resistance. Polypropylene is very resistant to absorbing moisture and is a good electrical insulator. The material is non-corroding. Hex head bolts are also known as plastic bolts or plastic screws.
