Romeo Tabuena (1921 - ): A Philippine born artist who is included in Whos' Who list of Internationally renowned artists. After Studying at the University of the Philippines, The Art Students League in New York and the Academie de la Grande Gaumiere in Paris, Tabuena finally settled in Mexico. This is where his career is as a painter commenced but he maintains link with his birth country, painting a large mural for the Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C, and a show of his in Mexico City at the International Salon of the Palace of Fine Arts was sponsored by the Philippine government. The countries together offered him a Millennium show in 2000.. Today his art is exhibited in many of the most acclaimed institutions around the world where it is enjoyed by critics and collectors alike.
