Brief description:

This Australian designed module is to work with your vehicle to safe guard it from a component of recirculated burnt gases.
 
This product does not affect your coolant operation, it will however reduce your EGT’s (Which is usually desired when a vehicle is working harder than standard or in higher environmental demands). Most users noted over 50 drop in degrees Celsius in EGT’s while vehicles were driving normally.
 
 

What are the benefits?


Your vehicle’s engine will now reduce significantly any clogging up of the intake from the EGR. This means a longer lasting upper manifold, cooler operation, less maintenance, usually lower fuel consumption, less engine noise and less lag from lower RPM.
 
You may note that warming up of the engine may take longer in some circumstances.

Is a plate or catch can required to use this product?

No. You will find this item will outweigh the benefits of ANY catch can on the market (In testing no catch can is 100% efficient.) for the purpose of build up reduction. It only takes a small amount of blow by oil for a catch can to miss to make EGR paste get stuck inside your intake manifold. Hence why an EGR cable is superior. There are other benefits to catch cans in some vehicles.
A plate will not be needed, but if you suspect your valve maybe getting stuck at anything but the closed position, you may want to fit one. It is usually not necessary.

Installation

Tools required – No tools required, if vehicle wiring is dirty, please clean before install.
Installation notes – Ensure vehicle is OFF with KEY OUT. Locate the intake airbox on the vehicle, unplug the MAF sensor from the loom on the airbox, fit the module onto the female plug of the airbox and onto the male side of the loom (Completing the circuit). You may now run the vehicle.
Installation Time - Approximately 1 minute
