1915 Dario Resta, Indianapolis 500 and Vanderbilt Cup Champion, Original Vintage 1 Photo Taken After Winning a Race at Chicago Speedway.  Photograph measures 4.25" x 6.75".

Resta was born in Italy but grew up in England.  In 1915, his first Indianapolis 500 Race, he finished 2nd but would come back in 1916 and win the Indianapolis 500.  He also won the Vanderbilt Cup back to back in 1915 and 1916.

Resta would die in 1924 trying to set a land speed record when a belt on the car broke and punctured his tire sending him through a fence and to his death. 

Photo is crystal clear with excellent detail.  He is pictured with his riding mechanic.  Top upper left corner is clipped as well as the bottom right corner.   A few light creases are present .
