ThunderJet™ is a jet-able, externally mounted third fuel circuit that improves the performance of 2-circuit carbs such as the S&S Super. Unmodified, these carbs typically have a low speed, or intermediate, circuit that supplies fuel from idle to approximately 2500 rpm, at which point the carbs’ main jet circuit becomes active, delivering more fuel to the engine. These two circuits must then supply fuel for the rest of the rpm range. The problem is: the remaining rpm range is too wide (typically 2500-6500 rpm) for only 2 circuits to handle efficiently. The tuner generally encounters problems jetting the carb to give good, crisp mid-range response and still have strong topend power. A compromise is the result. Back the main jet down, carburetion in the mid-range is good but top-end is lacking. Increase the main, top-end improves but now the mid-range is rich; flat spots or hesitation is encountered.

Before you unwrap your parts double check your fitment and once unwrapped, look the item over before trying to install it. We want every customer to be 100% satisfied with their purchase and know that all parts are fully warranted by the manufacturer.

Damages & Warranties

Damaged Shipments: Do not accept delivery from the carrier if the box has been damaged. If you can snap a picture of the damage and notify us ASAP we can replace the order right away. If you find shipping damage while opening your package be sure to keep all packing material and the shipping box so we can open a claim for you. Notify us right away so we start the process.

Missing Items or Wrong Item Received: Keep the box, packing material, all shipped parts and contact us right away.

Warranties: All products are warranted against manufacturer’s defects. Increasingly, many of our manufacturers handle claims directly to speed up the process of exchange or sending replacement parts. We’re happy to step in and get the ball rolling. Electronic parts must go back to the manufacturer for bench testing. Because issues are often solved over the phone with tech support, call the manufacturer first and be sure to get the name of whoever you speak with if you need to contact us.

Resolution Process: Business hours (8:00-5:00 pm EST) will get the resolution process going right away. After hours please email us so we know first thing in the morning there is a problem and we will contact you promptly.

Shipping:

Free Shipping: applies to the lower 48 United States only. Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, APO’s and Puerto Rico are not part of the lower 48 states and will be invoiced separately for shipping.

Most items will ship same day as long as the payment is received by 2 PM EST. Otherwise the item will ship next day or in accordance with the handling time. Handling times do not include weekends or holidays.
Be aware of handling times prior to purchase. While most items ship out the same day this might not always be the case. Expedited shipping is available but must be arranged prior to shipment.
Shipping method will either be USPS or UPS and it is determined by Eastern Performance's customer service team based on the best price with the safe arrival of the package in mind.
