INTRODUCTION:                                 

This book represents the findings of the Human Social Culture Behavior (HSCB) Modeling workshop conducted at the National Defense University in June 2008. Approximately 120 people attended the by-invitation-only workshop. The participants were selected from the government, academia, industry, and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers. The stated purpose of the workshop was to characterize the capabilities needed to perform effective HSCB modeling in support of operational users and senior decision makers.
