Antique Ambrotype -Photograph of Victorian Bearded Gentleman W/Case!  Nice!  Features a Victorian bearded gentleman in a striking pose.  In decent antique condition with some blemishes and imperfections as expected with an item of this age.  The gold colored metal insert/trim surrounding the photo is a bit dented on the left side and has a patina on its surface.  The frame itself has exterior blemishes on both sides of the surface as shown in the photos. On the interior of the frame, the maroon embossed velvet looks to be slightly faded as expected with age. Also, the binding is a tad torn and there is a piece of the velvet frame surrounding the gold insert which has separated from the frame – probably an easy fix!  See photos!  Measures almost 3 inches in height and almost 2.5 inches across as framed.  Photo itself appears to be approximately 2.5 inches in height and about 2 1/8 inches across.   In its frame, weighs approximately 2.1 ounces.
