WARRANTY / RETURNS

WARRANTY

Most parts we sell through eBay Motors come with a 30 day money back guarantee unless otherwise stated. The 30 day period starts when you take possession of the part. No labor warranty is provided.

All of the parts we sell are guaranteed to be in good working condition unless otherwise noted. We ONLY guarantee the part(s) will fit the vehicle(s) listed in the description. If your vehicle was not originally equipped with the EXACT part(s) listed, it is your responsibility to consult a dealer to see if it will fit your vehicle.

In the event a part sold with a warranty fails to operate within the warranty period we will replace the part(s) with a functionally equivalent part or refund the part purchase price, at our option.

No refund on deposits or unwanted special order parts or special "cut" items.

Any part broken during installation is NOT covered by the warranty.

Any items attached to parts that are considered convenience items (wiring, fuses, bulbs, sockets, sensors, coils, distributor caps, spark plugs, filters, brake parts, backing plates, hoses, vacuum lines, u-joints, etc...) are NOT covered by the warranty.

RETURNS

To return an item you must contact us via eBay Message within the 30 day period to obtain a RMA number (return material authorization).

**NOTE: If you return the item because you no longer need it, you ordered by mistake, if the part number is listed in the title or description but you didn't double check, or you took a chance on something outside of the interchange information, etc.,  we will return your item but we will deduct a RESTOCKING FEE of 20% from your refund to cover original shipping charges and fees.

Once you obtain an RMA number, ship the item back to Palmetto Auto Salvage, 485 Old Wilson Road #107, Wendell, NC 27591 along with the RMA number.

SHIPPING

FREE STANDARD SHIPPING - We ship to US addresses via FedEx or USPS.

FLAT RATE FREIGHT - Unless otherwise noted, items shipped via Flat Rate Freight will be sent via commercial carrier to the freight terminal nearest you. It will be your responsibility to arrange transportation of the item from the freight terminal to your location. If you have a commercial address you would like the item shipped to, please inform us of that at the time of purchase or message us within 24 hours of purchase.

Residential freight delivery is normally available for an additional charge. Please contact us for details.

We insure all freight shipments for damage done in transit.

LOCAL PICKUP - Pick up at our facilities in Wendell, NC is available. Please email us prior to your purchase to arrange pick up.

FREIGHT SHIPPING - Please contact us for a shipping quote on any parts marked as "Freight Shipping" before committing to purchase the item.

Core Charge. Core is an acronym for ‘Cash On Return’. A core charge is sometimes applied to rebuildable parts such as engines or alternators that can be redeemed for a portion of their original price. If the part you are purchasing has a core charge applied, it will be noted in the description.

Parts Grading. A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it.

A Grade - The highest quality part. It is of low miles and/or exceptional condition for its age.
B Grade - The second level quality part. It is of average miles and normal condition for its age.
C Grade - The third level quality part. It has high miles and/or light damage.
No Grade - A part that has not yet been graded.
