Description: A very nice example of the first printing of the first edition of this lovely Cecil Aldin illustrated book. Original green cloth-spine pictorial boards. Re-cased with new end papers. The book is in very attractive condition with some  wear and bumping to the edges (see pictures). Internally clean, bright and free of inscriptions. Binding sound and square. Some browning to the title pages (see pictures). The illustrated plates are in lovely condition. A very nice Cecil Aldin first edition.
