This auction is for ONE replacement key.  Genuine Keys - Not copies.  All are available from stock and delivered by Second Class Post, (Post-Free in UK; no extra postage for more items).

I usually dispatch keys on the next working day, but cannot control postal delivery times!  So please allow up to three working days for UK delivery.

If your lock barrel has a three digit number, in the range of 001 to 250, either without prefix or with an "N" and sometimes a suffix "R", you can use this service.

So if your lock code is:

001 thru 250

N001 thru N250

N001R thru N250R

You can use this service!

If you have a two digit number, for example: 27 instead of 027, please do not order as Thule Keys will not fit.

Please take care to read the lock code correctly.

REMEMBER THE BASE OF THE NUMBER IS ALWAYS NEAREST THE KEY SLOT. 

Please check that you have a Thule series lock barrel by checking picture #2

The first barrel (on left) is a Thule series lock - the key slot is 11mm wide with a large half-moon key guide - The number is etched and has three numbers (sometimes with letter codes in front or behind). 

The second barrel has a smaller key slot, about 9mm, smaller half-moon key guide and a stamped number - often found on Halfords bike racks - THULE KEYS WILL NOT FIT THIS TYPE.

  The third barrel, often found on Ford & Renault OE equipment, also has a slot of about 9mm often with a coloured plastic slot guard and sometimes without a serial number - Again, THULE KEYS WILL NOT FIT. 

Be careful not to confuse 1 & 7; 3 & 8; 6 & 8; 8 & 9. These are very easy to mis-read. A little time cleaning the face of the lock can save a lot of grief!

TROUBLESHOOTING:

When you receive your key, If it does not open your lock, please check that you have read the lock number correctly - If you have made a mistake, let me know and I'll arrange a swap for you at no extra charge (Overseas buyers will incur a small shipping charge).

If the number is correct, try squirting a bit of WD40 into the lock, then push the key in and out briskly (without turning) - This usually flicks the lock tumblers back into place and should then allow the lock to turn - But don't force it!
