Description: A very nice example of the first printing the first edition. Original hardback in original dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout by Joan Milroy. Measuring 7 inches by 9 inches. The dustwrapper is neatly not price clipped, showing the original 3/6 price to the inside front flap and is in very nice condition with a little wear to the edges. The book is likewise in very nice condition with a hint of wear to the extremities (see pictures).  Internally clean and bright. Neat gift inscription to the reverse of the title page. Binding sound and square. A lovely book.
