Prepare the Hose:
Cut/Trim the hose end evenly and cleanly using a hose cutter. Remove any debris for a smooth connection.
Attach the Hose Barb:
Slide a hose clamp onto the hose (if required). Push the barb end fully into the hose until snug.
Secure the Hose Clamp:
Position the clamp over the barb ridges and tighten securely to prevent leaks.
Prepare the Threaded Connection:
Apply PTFE (Teflon) tape or thread sealant to the 1/4" NPT Male threads for a proper seal. Wrap in the same direction as tightening.
Install the Fitting:
Thread the fitting into the Female NPT port by hand, then use a wrench to snugly tighten (avoid over-tightening).
Test for Leaks:
Pressurize or run fluid through the line slowly. Inspect for leaks and re-tighten if necessary.
