This very fun book certainly has the "WOW" factor! The graphics are bright, the printing is bold, the pages are not tattered or full of holes. There is no residue of smell or ancient odors. It does have the age old fabric shading we look for to authenticate the age of the this book .... which is circa 1900. It has been in the same family the entire time since it was purchased new. You will be the 2nd owner.   The binding is tight and there are no loose seam edges or raveling cloth. This lovely Mother Goose book of rhymes .... the poems you grew up with, are all included in this terrific book. You might detect WHAT SEEMS LIKE A TEAR on the bag page, however the inside print was placed on top of the fabric that resembles a repair and you need to know that's just the way this cloth rag book was originally made. This book receives a collectors top grade of A!
