BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 1940'S ERA
12K TRI-COLOR GOLD FILLED ON SILVER
WATCH PIN WITH CROTON WATCH!
I RECENTLY ACQUIRED A SMALL ESTATE COLLECTION OF VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE FINE & COSTUME JEWELRY. MANY PIECES ARE SIGNED AND SEVERAL ARE QUITE UNIQUE! LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE 1940'S ERA WATCH PIN WITH WATCH. IT IS AN ORNATE TRI-COLOR CLEARLY MARKED ON THE BACK OF THE PIN "1/20 12K. G.F. ON SILVER, DO". IT WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 19.4 GRAMS AND THE PIN MEASURES ABOUT 1 3/4" WIDE X 2 5/8" LONG. THE PIN IS A FLOWER WITH SWIRLS AND ROSE GOLD BEADS. DANGLING ARE TWO LARGER 1/2 BEADS WITH A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND LEAVES. SECURED IN THE CENTER IS A WIND WATCH CLEARLY MARKED "CROTON". IT IS GOLD FILLED WITH A BEVEL EDGE CRYSTAL, BLACK NUMBERS AND BLUE HANDS. THE HANDS CAN BE SET WITH THE STEM, WINDS EASILY BUT DOES NOT RUN. THE PIN IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION AND GOOD WORKING ORDER, OPENING AND CLOSING EASILY AND IS A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF RETRO JEWELRY!
