Thousands of golfers and golf clubs are now using our preferred "GLIDERS" wheel protectors which fit over your existing wheels and treads and enable you to use your own electric or push/pull golf trolley all year round, particularly in winter when many courses insist on fitting winter wheels.  We manufacture them in all sizes for practically all trolleys and they are receiving great acclaim for their performance and good value.  Golf clubs are fitting them to the wheels of their own hire trolleys as they are super durable with a nature inspired honeycomb pattern.

CAUTION: Please make sure that the extra depth of the Gliders when fitted to your wheels does not interfere with the frame of the trolley either when folded or when opening.  The FRONT wheels of trolleys are often enclosed in a frame, so again make sure there is sufficient clearance (30mm required) around the wheel perimeter.  We can supply a thinner moulding to fit front wheels where clearance is small - this requires only a 15mm clearance - contact us with a message if you require this and you must let us know the exact dimensions of this small wheel.  SO IF YOU ORDER THE SMALL FRONT WHEEL, SIZE SD, YOU MUST LET US KNOW THE DIAMETER OF THIS PLEASE.

GLIDERS give a smoother, softer and skid-free ride.  They consist of a pair of lightweight rubber matrix wheel sleeves and reduce ground contact by up to 80% to improve grip and momentum and minimise any damage to fairways and your own trolley wheels.

GLIDERS have been tested during summer and winter and meet the demands of golf courses and green keepers.  They have been researched, designed and are manufactured in the UK by Red Kite Products Ltd and are durable, easy to clean and can be removed and re-fitted as many times as you wish.  They are available in a standard range of sizes to fit practically all electric and pull trolley wheels.

Sizes:  please measure carefully your wheel maximum outer diameter (including the existing tread) and the width of the tread for the two MAIN wheels.  Then please specify the diameter your require as, for example, Size 19D (for 9.5" to 10" wheels).  Then measure the diameter of your FRONT wheel and select the size from the drop down box above.   If your wheel diameter is, for example, exactly 10", choose the larger size GLIDER, 20D to give the best fit.  Note that the Gliders are approx. 3" wide - we can supply them wider, 4.5" wide - please contact us to discuss.  If in doubt, please just let us know the size of your wheels.  PRICES ARE PER SET OF THREE GLIDERS. 

NOTE: We supply this thinner moulding also for front wheels which have a small 4" to 8" diameter.  Order as above (click on the first item SD in the drop down box for FRONT wheels, and add a note to us with the exact diameter and width please.)

Attaching to your wheels only takes a few minutes - special washers and self-tapping screws ensure a positive attachment to your wheels - instructions and fittings are included. If your trolley has the ultra-thin wheel rims and treads, make sure the screws will not penetrate through the plastic wheel - shorter screws are available on request so let us know when ordering that you require these. Please note they are not suitable for use with pneumatic tyres.   If the golf course you play on is clay based and allowed to get very muddy, please try to minimise clogging of the GLIDERS by keeping to the grassy areas and gravel paths.

TERMS OF TRADE: Payment please via card or Paypal.  Whilst we endeavor to send to you as quickly as we can, they are made to order and preparation and dispatch can take 3-5 working days and delivery economy class 3-5 days as soon as payment is cleared, subject to stock availability or any special requirements.  Free returns only accepted for any manufacturing defects (please note that rubber products often have minor white marks on them from the moulding process/release agents which are safe and will disappear in use).  Posted GLIDERS are safely sent in a padded postal bag without the retail packaging in the photo.

General Product Safety Regulations: Take care when fitting and using a screwdriver to secure screws. Check regularly the GLIDERS are positioned and secured safely on the trolley wheels.  They are made from a high percentage of recycled rubber. As with all rubber products they can be a fire risk so keep away from flames and ignition sources. Dispose of safely, if possible recycle, in accordance with your local area waste disposal requirements.
