DESCRIPTION :

The Multispectral solutions Impulse Source TFP1001 is a UWB signal generator for applications in time domain reflectometry, UWB interference analysis and measurement, and UWB antenna and propagation measurements.

The TFP1001 provides separately triggerable positive and negative impulses, with rise times of typically 100 ps or less, and peak amplitudes of nominally 9 V into 50 Ω. Triggerable at rates in excess of 100 megapulses per second, the TFP1001 is ideally suited to a wide range of UWB systems analyses and measurements.

The generated waveforms produce spectral energy well beyond 10 GHz, permitting UWB system evaluation and testing over the full range of FCC part 15 subpart F compliant limits.
