Description: A very nice first printing of the limited first edition of 2500. Original hardback in original dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is complete and has the original $3.00 to inside front flap. 

The dustwrapper, designed by Hannes Bok, is in very nice condition with just a little wear to spine ends and corner tips, slight darkening to spine(see pictures). The book itself is also in very nice condition having been protected by the dustwrapper. Titles bright and edges remain sharp. Internally clean and bright and free of inscriptions. Very slight browning to prelims. Interesting book plate to the front free end paper. 

A really very nice first edition. A great collection of short stories mostly taken from Weird Tales. Scarce.

Frank Belknap Long (1901-1994) was a prolific science fiction and horror writer. He was a close friend of H P Lovecraft who he first met in 1920 and continued to be in contact with all of Lovecraft's life.
