Our Version of the perfect pale ale. Named after the beautiful and scenic GreenBelt stretch of the Boise river. And like the Boise river, it's crisp, clean, and refreshing on a summer day. With a balance of maltiness and bitterness. The malt base is a simple one, with the caramel, toasty flavors being contributed simply by some 60L Crystal malt. Balancing this nicely is the citrus-like bitterness from the Cascade hops. In addition to the Cascade hops, the addition of Perle hops seems to tame the citrus and add a subtle earthy/pine characteristic.
