Title: "The Proclamation Of The Truce Between Richard II. Of England And Charles VI. Of France."

Artist: Jean Froissart - Jean (John) Froissart (c1337 - c1405) was a medieval French chronicler writer. He is the earliest and most important artist of medieval France illuminated lithographic art. For centuries, Froissart's Chronicles have been recognized as the chief expression of the chivalric revival of the 14th century Kingdom of England & France. Froissart's history is also one of the most important sources for the first half of the Hundred Years' War.

Print Tone: Hand-Tinted Color - Hand-Colored with gold & silver illuminations/accents.

Print Type: Lithograph

* This print was previously owned by American Weekly Editorial Department in New York and has their stamp on the back - (it does not show thru to other side).

* Marks/Age Toning/Foxing-Staining may exist throughout print. No rips or tears.

* Blank on reverse side.

* May have larger margins that do not appear in picture and text below image.

Some prints may be off center, or have uneven edges. Any trimming of the print is left to the buyer.

The print is much sharper and more detailed than the scanned picture depicts.
